Genus Arcte (Kollar, 1844) is a former Noctuidae genus that is currently placed under Erebinae. Much literature still treats them as Noctuidae, however. It contains multiple species. The most well-known is perhaps the ramie moth, Arcte coerula (Guenée, 1852), the most common and widespread species. Arcte sp. are fructivorous moths, generally brown or greyish and with dark or blue hindwings.
